Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Silava!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Silava.
Vovkov shoots in for a takedown but Silava shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vovkov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Silava defends well and Vovkov ends up having to push Silava into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Vovkov takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Vlad Vovkov has been cut.
Vovkov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silava smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vlad Vovkov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silava dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Silava thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vovkov if he has to take too many more of those.

Silava buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vovkov is breathing heavily.
Vovkov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Silava lands a head shot.
Vovkov shoots in but no luck this time.
Silava lands with a nice body kick.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Vovkov. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silava fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vovkov.

Vovkov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Silava.

Silava buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Vovkov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silava. Silava obviously looking to wear him down.

Vovkov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silava pinned against the cage. Silava gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silava scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Silava connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vovkov's hands.
Vovkov needs to keep his hands up - Silava had a free shot at his head there.

Vovkov is rocked!
Silava has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Silava fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Vovkov out cold! Brutal finish!
