The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren throws a hook but Svensson blocks it.
Svensson lands a slapping body shot.
Askren darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Askren looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Askren passes the guard and advances to mount!
Svensson wants to try and get back to his feet.

BOOM! Askren connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Askren is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Svensson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
