Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ali Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slatko Matic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Mundian To Bach Ke. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Matic connects with a right hand. Khan shakes it off.

Matic connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Khan momentarily.

A nice inside leg kick there by Matic. That's going to slow Khan down.
Matic lands a jab.
Khan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Matic clobbers Khan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Khan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Khan there as he acknowledges the shot.
Khan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Khan dives in for a single leg takedown but Matic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Matic lands a left hand that snaps the head of Khan backwards.
Matic gets underhooks to prevent Khan's takedown attempt.
Matic looking to throw knees to the head but Khan is blocking nicely.
Khan is trying to pull guard but Matic has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ali Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Matic is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Khan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Slatko Matic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Khan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Oh Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A chopping leg kick lands by Matic.
Khan seems to have got his legs back now.

Matic throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Khan stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Matic follows into mount!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Matic is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Matic pounces like a tiger and cracks Khan with a vicious hook! Khan is down but not out! Matic follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
