Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitaly Fetisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fetisov comes to the cage accompanied by Skillet. Perry has chosen Tupac- Hail Mary as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fetisov tries to keep at a distance but Perry has taken the fight into the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Perry stands up and beckons Fetisov to join him on the feet.

Perry keeps the fight on the outside.
Fetisov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Perry's waist but Perry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fetisov off to one side.

and Perry counters with a shoot takedown. Fetisov fights it but they end up in guard.

Perry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fetisov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fetisov has escaped and now he's on top!

Fetisov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Perry throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Fetisov escapes and throws Perry's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Perry tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fetisov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Perry can do anything to dispel that myth.

Perry drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fetisov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Perry has Fetisov in his guard.

Perry escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Perry leaves Fetisov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well Perry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
