Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Chris Berzins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan MacGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacGregor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Scotland the Brave kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berzins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
MacGregor moves into range and connects with a jab.
Berzins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Berzins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and MacGregor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from MacGregor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

MacGregor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Berzins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Berzins takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

MacGregor's corner calls for a 1-2. MacGregor obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The fighters circle momentarily. MacGregor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Berzins walks into a straight right hand and goes down! MacGregor rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Berzins has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Berzins ducks into a a hook from MacGregor and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
MacGregor has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
MacGregor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Berzins on the side of the head.
MacGregor closes the distance and catches Berzins with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Berzins is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Berzins is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Berzins is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! MacGregor takes it!
