The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darcy moves out of range of the leg kick from Kenuei.
Kenuei could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Darcy wants to clinch.

Darcy moves out of range as Kenuei throws a body kick.
Kenuei misses with a low kick as Darcy jumps back.
Kenuei defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Darcy.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kenuei.
Darcy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kenuei manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kenuei scores with a leg kick.
Darcy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kenuei swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Darcy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kenuei defends well and Darcy ends up having to push Kenuei into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kenuei throws a head punch that misses.
Kenuei is trying to break free.

Kenuei breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kenuei throws a chopping leg kick but Darcy manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kenuei misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kenuei keeps the fight on the outside.

Kenuei throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Darcy tries to close the distance and clinch but Kenuei swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Darcy takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Kenuei lands a big head kick that sends Darcy tumbling to the mat! Kenuei takes a step backwards and waves Darcy back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Darcy is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Darcy tries to clinch but Kenuei moves out of range.
Darcy is still on wobbly legs! Can Kenuei finish him?
Kenuei shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Darcy seems to have recovered his senses.
Kenuei circles away from the clinch attempt.
Darcy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kenuei manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kenuei lands a brutal head kick. Darcy looks out on his feet and Kenuei throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
