Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Durant pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Durant shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Durant showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Durant is working away from the top position though.
Bones is holding on to half guard well.
Durant wants to take a breather but Bones is having none of it.
Bones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Durant shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bones as he jumps to the side.
Bones blocks a leg kick.
Bones moves in looking to clinch but Durant pushes him off.

Durant closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bones's guard.

Kevin Durant has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Durant throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bones's waist but Bones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Durant off to one side.

Durant darts in looking for a takedown but Bones gets double underhooks and turns Durant into the cage.

Bones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Durant tries to avoid it but Bones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Durant to the ground. Durant escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Durant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bones throws a sloppy head kick and Durant moves out of range easily.
Durant is looking to clinch but Bones is avoiding it.

Durant misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Durant drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bones pulls his leg out and moves away.
Durant pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Durant avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Durant is working an open guard so Bones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Bones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Durant was covering up waiting for the punch and Bones finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bones looks to land a strike but Durant avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Durant content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Bones has locked up a guillotine! Bones's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Durant is holding on here and Bones must be using up a lot of energy. Durant has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Bones gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
