Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Crain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dante Vader has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Timmy Crain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dante Vader!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vader tries for a takedown but Crain circles away easily
and Crain counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Crain avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vader tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crain sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vader somewhat.

Crain has taken the fight to the clinch.
Crain using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Vader wants a takedown but no success here.
Timmy Crain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Vader.
Crain lands a knee to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Crain has picked Vader up - he's going for a ride! Crain dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Crain perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Vader looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Crain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Crain throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Vader wants to get back to his feet.

Crain is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vader has managed to free his arm - good work.

Crain stands up out of the half guard.
Crain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Crain throws a nice looking combination but Vader bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Crain moves into the clinch successfully.
Crain gets underhooks to prevent Vader's takedown attempt.
Crain unloads a knee to the mid-section. Vader lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Crain gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vader is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Vader throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Crain has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Vader looks winded!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Crain stands up and waves to Vader to follow him.
Crain tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vader was well out of range. Poor timing from Crain.
Crain slips a jab and a cross from Vader.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Vader tries for a takedown. No joy.
Vader is working for takedown but Crain is calmly controlling the position for now.

Crain gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Vader regains guard.
Vader can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Crain controls the pace.
Crain passes into half guard.
Vader wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Vader keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Vader is staying active underneath Crain, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Crain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Crain prevents Vader from improving his position.
Vader moves into full guard.
Crain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Crain keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vader's head.

Crain gets to his feet. Vader looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Crain shoots for a double leg takedown but Vader sprawls well. He's pushed Crain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Crain closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vader tries to score a body lock takedown but Crain shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Crain works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Crain wants the takedown. Vader is fighting it off but Crain persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Vader's guard against the cage.
Vader has a closed guard, preventing Crain from standing up.
Crain trying to control the position from guard on top but Vader is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Crain trying to stand up but can't free himself from Vader's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Vader has his foot on Crain's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crain works his way back into a safe position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Crain moves into range and connects with a jab.
Vader just misses with a punch to the body.
Vader takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Vader misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Crain.
Crain lunges at Vader with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vader's hand.

Crain shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vader napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crain tries for a kimura but Vader is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vader is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Crain has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Vader is looking for a sweep.
Crain throws a strike aimed at the side of Vader's head but Vader avoids it well.
Crain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vader keeps working.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vader is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Crain has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Timmy Crain overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Crain has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Vader changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crain tries to avoid it but Vader manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crain to the ground. Crain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vader is breathing heavily.
Vader keeps the fight on the outside.
Vader lands with a shot to the body.
Crain gets in close and tags Vader with a short punch that almost sends Vader to the mat! Oh Vader is in big trouble! He turns his back on Crain, trying to create some distance but Crain rushes him, striking wildly and Vader goes down! The referee tackles Crain into the cage to end the fight! Crain is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timmy Crain!
An out of breath Timmy Crain thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
