Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jones gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Jones sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Amsterdamski defending well though.
Jones is thwarting Amsterdamski's attempts to control the position.
Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Amsterdamski trying to control but Jones postures up.

Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amsterdamski swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Amsterdamski is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
Jones throwing strikes from guard but Amsterdamski blocks nicely.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Amsterdamski is on top in guard.
Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jones is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Amsterdamski dives into side control.
Amsterdamski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones is trying to improve his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Amsterdamski has hold of Jones's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jones tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Amsterdamski cranks the arm and Jones screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jones, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Wojownik Amsterdamski!
