The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson drives through and clinches with Caldwell against the cage.
Caldwell is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stevenson to keep the fight standing.
Caldwell drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stevenson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Caldwell tries to score a body lock takedown but Stevenson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Thomas Stevenson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Caldwell.

Stevenson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stevenson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Caldwell to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stevenson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Caldwell pulls down on the head and he's put Stevenson to sleep! This one is all over!
