Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noir comes into the arena with Pride blaring out of the sound system. Anderson has chosen The Champ is Here as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Reggie Anderson enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noir looks for a takedown but Anderson sprawls well.
Anderson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Anderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Anderson connects with an inside leg kick.
Noir fails with the takedown

so Anderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Noir has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Anderson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Noir.

Noir fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anderson avoids it really well and circles away.

Anderson leaves Noir with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Noir walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A low kick from Anderson is predictable there
and Noir makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Anderson really felt that one!

and Anderson counters with a body kick that stops Noir in his tracks momentarily.

Noir takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Noir will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Noir closes the distance and clinches up with Anderson, looking for a takedown. Noir pushes Anderson against the cage but Anderson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Anderson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Anderson lands a nice hook to Noir's body. Noir takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Well Anderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
