The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ross looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gabriel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Ross bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gabriel takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Ross is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gabriel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ross grinds an elbow into Gabriel's temple.
Ross wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gabriel, who protects the arm well.

Ross is working to tighten his grip on Gabriel's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gabriel has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ross is really squeezing tight and eventually Gabriel passes out! Ross breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
