The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Ddddddd listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Ddddddd connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Franklin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ddddddd. Ddddddd obviously looking to wear him down.
Franklin moves in looking to clinch but Ddddddd pushes him off.
Ddddddd moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ddddddd throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Franklin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Franklin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ddddddd as he avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Franklin.
That kick from Ddddddd tenderised Franklin's leg. Franklin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ddddddd fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ddddddd throws a head kick but Franklin moves out of range.
Franklin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ddddddd tries to avoid it but Franklin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ddddddd to the ground. Ddddddd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ddddddd Ddddddd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Franklin.
Franklin tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ddddddd counters with a one-two to the body.
Ddddddd misses with a series of wild punches.
Franklin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Franklin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ddddddd lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ddddddd.

Franklin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ddddddd swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Franklin walks into a jab.
Franklin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ddddddd swivels and escapes.
Ddddddd lands a head kick. Franklin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A good leg kick by Ddddddd.
Ddddddd tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ddddddd scores with a one two! Franklin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Franklin tries to clinch up but Ddddddd circles away and keeps his distance.
Ddddddd Ddddddd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ddddddd explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Franklin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Ddddddd Ddddddd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ddddddd lands a head kick!
Ddddddd misses with a double jab
and Franklin counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Ddddddd badly! Franklin follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Ddddddd out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Franklin finished him against the cage.
