Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Cesaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Cesaro!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cesaro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tyler, pushing him back against the cage.

Cesaro manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Tyler tries to free his leg and advance position but Cesaro is retaining full guard.
Cesaro tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Tyler drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cesaro looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cesaro looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cesaro!

Tyler is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyler takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Cesaro cracks Tyler with a big elbow.

It looks like John Tyler has been cut.
Cesaro cracks Tyler with a big right hand but Tyler just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Tyler is trying to work for a sweep but Cesaro has mounted him!
Tyler sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tyler is looking for a sweep. Cesaro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cesaro thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tyler's head.
Cesaro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cesaro is looking to advance position but Tyler won't allow it.

Tyler looking for submissions off his back.
Cesaro looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Cesaro seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cesaro connects with a nice short shot to Tyler's temple.
Cesaro slips a nice elbow through Tyler's hands, connecting with Tyler's forehead.

John Tyler's cut is getting worse.
Well, if Cesaro is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are battling for position here. Tyler manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Tyler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cesaro stacks Tyler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cesaro!

John Tyler's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Tyler is looking to reverse the position.

Jeez, John Tyler's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Tyler's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
