The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tweedie dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hearns. That did some damage!
Hearns tries to clinch up
and Tweedie counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A slow jab from Hearns misses its intended target.
A thudding body kick lands there by Tweedie!
Tweedie looks to score with a jab to the body but Hearns is just out of range.
Tweedie throws a series of punches but Hearns moves out of range.
Tweedie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hearns tries to clinch but Tweedie is having none of it.
Hearns misses with a few strikes there.
Hearns looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hearns connects with a nice looking jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hearns finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hearns tries to clinch but Tweedie is having none of it.
Tweedie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hearns scores with a hook.
Hearns throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tweedie on the side of the head.

Tweedie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hearns sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tweedie works Hearns's body with a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tweedie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hearns looks to land a right hand but Tweedie moved out of range.
Hearns takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tweedie throws a body punch but Hearns moves out of range.
Tweedie scores with a nice head shot.


It looks like Thomas Hearns has been cut.
Tweedie throws a jab but it's blocked by Hearns.
Tweedie lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hearns falls backwards - clearly groggy! Tweedie dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
