Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Gascoigne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kosti Lom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lom has chosen Bahh Tee as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kosti Lom!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lom throws a nice inside leg kick.
Gascoigne avoids the head kick by Lom.
We've been told by Gascoigne's head coaches at Pahuyuth Muay Thai 12 elite coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Lom takes the fight into the clinch.

Lom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gascoigne on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Paul Gascoigne has been cut.
Gascoigne slips a jab from Lom.
Lom misses with a hook.
Lom has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gascoigne is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Gascoigne closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lom did well to prevent Gascoigne getting side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gascoigne is looking for a kimura but Lom is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gascoigne to get the leverage.

Gascoigne is working for a submission of some sort.

Gascoigne is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lom doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gascoigne.
Lom is concentrating on defense, preventing Gascoigne from advancing position.

Lom has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gascoigne is working away from the top position though.
Lom pushes Gascoigne off looking to stand but Gascoigne dives back in and keeps control.
Lom tries to get to full guard but Gascoigne has control of the leg.

Gascoigne is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lom sees it coming and defends easily.
Lom wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lom is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lom makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lom.
Lom is adopting a defensive guard.

Gascoigne won't allow Lom to get back to his feet.
Gascoigne tries to free his leg and advance position but Lom is retaining full guard.
Lom wants to sweep here but Gascoigne controlling him for the moment.

Gascoigne is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lom is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lom has escaped and now he's on top!
Gascoigne wants to sweep but no luck.

Gascoigne throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lom uses it to pass to side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lom decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gascoigne to his feet.
Kosti Lom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lom slips a jab and a cross from Gascoigne.
Lom moves out of range as Gascoigne strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gascoigne circles away quickly and effectively.
Lom scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gascoigne misses with a double jab.
Gascoigne shoots for a takedown but Lom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lom connects with a solid leg kick.
Lom moves out of range as Gascoigne throws a body kick.
Lom changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lom throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gascoigne is breathing heavily.
A lazy left from Lom finds it's target.

Gascoigne shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lom defends it nicely.
Lom moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Gascoigne has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lom finds it's way round the side to connect with Gascoigne's head.
Kosti Lom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gascoigne takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Lom doesn't manage to clinch there - Gascoigne circles away.
Gascoigne has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lom finds it's way round the side to connect with Gascoigne's head.
Lom cracks Gascoigne with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Paul Gascoigne's cut is getting worse.
Gascoigne throws a leg kick
and Lom counters with a nice uppercut.
Gascoigne misses the shot to the body.
Lom moves out of range of the body kick from Gascoigne.
Gascoigne takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Paul Gascoigne's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Lom drops Gascoigne with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gascoigne looks back up at him and smiles so Lom waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Gascoigne is rocked!
Lom fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gascoigne has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Gascoigne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lom gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Gascoigne seems to have got his legs back now.

Lom lands a vicious elbow to the side of Gascoigne's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Lom tries to finish him with strikes but Gascoigne still seems able to defend himself so Lom steps back and lets Gascoigne get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paul Gascoigne's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
