Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andersoon Silvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Capen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silvia tries to avoid it but Capen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silvia to the ground. Silvia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Capen. No joy for Silvia on that attempt.
Silvia shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Capen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Silvia counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Andersoon Silvia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelo Capen.
Capen is working for takedown but Silvia is calmly controlling the position for now.

Capen jumps guard and drags Silvia to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Capen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silvia is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Capen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silvia's back instead.
Capen gets his hands free as Silvia looks to control.

Capen doesn't have the hooks in and Silvia manages to turn into his guard.
Silvia throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Capen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Capen has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Silvia has passed into side control.
Capen tries to bench press Silvia off him but Silvia keeps the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silvia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Capen pinned against the cage. Capen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silvia doesn't manage to clinch there - Capen circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silvia tries a knee to the head but Capen blocks it.
Silvia lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Capen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silvia gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Capen tries to score a body lock takedown but Silvia shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Capen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silvia looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Capen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Capen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silvia keeps working.

Capen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silvia, who protects the arm well.

Capen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Silvia is not content to let Capen control the position.

Capen has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Silvia!

Capen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Silvia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Capen on the ground.

Capen moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Silvia has worked his arm free - good work by Silvia!

Capen doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Silvia counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Capen tries to get to full guard but Silvia has control of the leg.

Capen wants to sweep here but Silvia controlling him for the moment.
Capen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silvia!
