Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enoch Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Ribery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Enoch Casey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jan Ribery!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribery shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ribery avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Casey darts in trying to clinch

and Ribery holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Casey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ribery smiles and moves away.
Casey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ribery shoots for a double leg takedown but Casey sprawls well. He's pushed Ribery's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Enoch Casey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Ribery.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Ribery swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ribery throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Casey.
Ribery avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Casey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ribery moves in looking to clinch but Casey pushes him off.

Casey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ribery tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Casey is looking to take a break and control but Ribery is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Casey remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Enoch Casey.
Ribery tries to land a body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ribery gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Casey finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ribery instigates a clinch.
Ribery is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Casey tries for a takedown but Ribery manages to get underhooks.
Casey tries to pull guard but Ribery holds him up against the cage and eventually Casey drops back down to his feet.

Ribery successfully pulls guard.
Ribery is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ribery is breathing heavily.

Ribery is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Casey controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ribery avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Casey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ribery looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Casey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ribery's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ribery's back!
Ribery takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Ribery is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Casey.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Casey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee is taking a good look at Ribery as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Casey!

Casey thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Casey's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Ribery wants to control his opponent's hands but Casey gets his hands free.

Casey struggling to keep hold of the position.
Ribery tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Ribery gets back to half guard.

Ribery is staying active underneath Casey, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Casey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ribery has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Casey is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Enoch Casey will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Ribery takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Casey wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Jan Ribery has got the better of the ground game so far.
Casey is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
