Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harlan Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Bellamy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe comes into the arena with Sons of Perdition - Blood In The Valley blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harlan Crowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Samuel Bellamy!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bellamy closes the distance looking to clinch

and Crowe counters with a shoot takedown. Bellamy fights it but they end up in guard.
Crowe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Crowe is in close to Bellamy's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Crowe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bellamy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Crowe throwing strikes but missing.

Crowe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bellamy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Crowe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Samuel Bellamy wasn't active enough on the ground.
Crowe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bellamy moves away.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Crowe pushes Bellamy up against the ropes in a clinch.

Crowe has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bellamy regains guard immediately.
Bellamy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bellamy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bellamy holds on and takes a little breather.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Samuel Bellamy has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bellamy tries to clinch but Crowe is having none of it.
Crowe throws a front kick aimed at Bellamy's knee but Bellamy avoids it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crowe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Crowe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bellamy won't be happy with that.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Crowe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Crowe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bellamy looks to score with a jab to the body but Crowe is just out of range.
Crowe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crowe pushes Bellamy away with a front kick.
Crowe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bellamy. Bellamy obviously looking to wear him down.
Bellamy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Crowe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bellamy.

Crowe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bellamy keeps working.

Bellamy managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Crowe.
You can see the frustration on Bellamy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bellamy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bellamy tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Crowe.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Samuel Bellamy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Crowe connects with a body shot that sends Bellamy's belly button to the back.

Crowe is looking to wear down Bellamy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bellamy stalks Crowe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Crowe's face. Crowe staggers backwards, shaken.

Bellamy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bellamy tries to clinch but Crowe moves out of range.
Crowe shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crowe.

Crowe lands a nice hook to Bellamy's body. Bellamy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bellamy tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Crowe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bellamy tries to close the distance and clinch but Crowe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Crowe throws a right and a left that Bellamy avoids nicely.

Crowe feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bellamy's calf.
Bellamy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crowe swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Crowe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bellamy's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bellamy throws a series of punches but Crowe avoids them all with ease.

Crowe digs a good hook to Bellamy's body.
Bellamy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crowe.

Bellamy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Crowe shoots in for a takedown but Bellamy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Crowe catches Bellamy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Crowe looks to score with a jab to the body but Bellamy is just out of range.

and Crowe counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Crowe.
Crowe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bellamy can do to turn this around?
