The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane throws a head kick that misses.
Cane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carroll lands with an uppercut that bounces Cane off the cage and back into range.
Carroll fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cane checks it well.
Carroll will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice shot lands for Carroll.
Carroll lands with a shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cane is defended easily by Carroll.
Carroll finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Carroll lands with a good body shot.
Carroll leaves Cane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cane takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cane looks winded!
Carroll fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Carroll misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carroll wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Carroll cracks Cane with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Carroll has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cane to stand back up!

Cane is rocked!

It looks like David Cane has been cut.
Andy Carroll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BAM! Carroll delivers a spinning backfist that drops Cane like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
