Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Scotty Nguyen!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen avoids a kick to the body.
Nguyen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dickson. That did some damage!
Dickson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nguyen under the eye.
It looks like Scotty Nguyen has been cut.
Nguyen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dickson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dickson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nguyen shoots for a double leg takedown but Dickson sprawls well. He's pushed Nguyen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nguyen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dickson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

No luck for Dickson with that takedown attempt.
Dickson shoots in for a takedown but Nguyen shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ezekiel Dickson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nguyen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dickson moves away.

Dickson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nguyen misses with a jab, cross combination.

Dickson misses with a takedown attempt - Nguyen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Nguyen. That snapped Dickson's head back.
It looks like Ezekiel Dickson has been cut.

and Dickson counters with a right hand to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Nguyen.
Nice body kick there by Nguyen.

Dickson shoots in but no luck this time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dickson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dickson is rocked!
Dickson drops his hands for a split second and Nguyen immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Dickson face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Nguyen follows up with a right hand that knocks Dickson into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Scotty Nguyen!
