Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Finan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodg Padacteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Finan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Padacteri not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Padacteri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Finan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Padacteri looking to hit a scissor sweep but Finan is one step ahead there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Finan trying to control but Padacteri is working from the bottom.

Finan drops back looking for a leg! Padacteri is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Padacteri manages to kick Finan off! Finan jumps back into Padacteri's guard.
Padacteri is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Padacteri misses with a two punch combination.

Padacteri drives through and clinches with Finan against the cage.
Padacteri misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Finan.

Finan can't get the takedown.
Finan fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Padacteri pushes off an throws an elbow but Finan leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Finan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyrone Finan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Finan takes an elbow to the temple.

Finan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Finan wants to sweep here but Padacteri controlling him for the moment.
Padacteri wants to control from the top but Finan keeps moving.
Finan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Padacteri tries to free his leg and advance position but Finan is retaining full guard.
Finan striking off his back but it's not causing Padacteri any problems.

Finan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Padacteri doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Padacteri manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Finan is trying to control the position but Padacteri postures up.

Padacteri stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Finan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Finan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Finan working for a triangle but Padacteri defends it easily.
Finan is breathing heavily.
Padacteri not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Padacteri wants to control from the top but Finan keeps moving.
Finan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Finan has his foot on Padacteri's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Padacteri works his way back into a safe position though.

Finan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Padacteri gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Finan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Padacteri is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Finan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Padacteri's back instead.

Padacteri might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Finan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Finan keeps control of the position as Padacteri tries to break free.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Finan is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Padacteri won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Finan off his unconscious opponent!
