Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lars Thunstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunstrom comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - Spitfire. Ross has chosen Show me how to live as his entrance music. Rick Ross will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Thunstrom moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ross has worked his arm free - good work by Ross!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Thunstrom wants to control for a moment but Ross uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ross lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thunstrom has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thunstrom and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ross tries to work over Thunstrom's front leg with a kick but Thunstrom checks it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Thunstrom crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ross - the referee stops the clock and Thunstrom gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ross. Thunstrom manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
