Kurse comes to the cage accompanied by Radioactive - Imagine Dragons. Abraham Kurse has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paiva tries to clinch but Kurse is having none of it.
Kurse feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Paiva keeping full guard, as Kurse tries to pass.
Kurse is pushing down on Paiva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Paiva is fighting to maintain full guard but Kurse has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kurse has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Paiva defend it? Kurse steps over the head and cranks it - Paiva is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kurse!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Abraham Kurse!
Abraham Kurse looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'You know what they say, right? I've been doubted before and I'm glad to prove everybody wrong. Bring me the next prey!'.
