PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobbo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Rickman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Rickman circles away.
Rickman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rickman off to one side.

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jones.
Rickman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jones blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rickman gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rickman goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Rickman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Rickman's head.

I would just about give that final round to Brock Rickman.

A relieved looking Bobbo Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
