Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nash shoots in for a double leg but Nunes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nash misses with the combination.
Nunes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nash as he avoids it easily.
Nash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nunes was well out of range. Poor timing from Nash.
Nunes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nash is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nunes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nunes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nash.
Nash ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nunes tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nash defends well and Nunes ends up having to push Nash into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nash prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Nunes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nunes seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nash can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nunes postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Nash looks a forlorn figure.
Nunes fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

It looks like Kevin Nash has been cut.

Nunes lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Kevin Nash's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
