Mollachiev comes to the cage accompanied by Junior Senior - Move Your Feet. The key to victory for Ilgar Mollachiev has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ilgar Mollachiev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bjj Pro!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pro avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Pro is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mollachiev's half guard.
Pro stalling.

Pro is looking for a kimura but Mollachiev is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pro to get the leverage.
Pro looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pro not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Pro trying to control the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mollachiev keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Bjj Pro has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Mollachiev slaps away a takedown attempt from Pro, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Mollachiev as Pro shoots in.

Pro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mollachiev manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Pro sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pro is looking to work some ground and pound but Mollachiev has wrist control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mollachiev being controlled here, momentarily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bjj Pro hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mollachiev defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pro.
Ilgar Mollachiev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjj Pro.
Pro catches Mollachiev with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mollachiev tries to close the distance and clinch but Pro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mollachiev enables Pro to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mollachiev manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pro controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Pro slips nicely into half guard.
Pro sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mollachiev defending well though.

Pro looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pro with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Pro's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bjj Pro wasn't active enough on the ground.

Pro scores with a takedown into Mollachiev's guard.
Pro is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Let's hope that Pro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bjj Pro dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Mollachiev tries to sprawl but Pro drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Pro with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Bjj Pro has got the better of the ground game so far.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bjj Pro wasn't active enough on the ground.
Pro slips under a jab.
An inside leg kick from Mollachiev misses.
Pro misses with a hook.
Pro stuffs the takedown attempt from Mollachiev. Mollachiev gets slowly back to his feet.
Mollachiev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pro.
Mollachiev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pro circles away quickly and effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mollachiev counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Pro darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mollachiev is looking to escape.

Pro maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mollachiev could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pro has cracked it and Mollachiev is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pro!
