The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alford moves out of range as Brokeyes throws a body kick.
Johnny Brokeyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brokeyes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alford defends it nicely.
Alford fails to land the takedown.
Alford really is a fat lump.
Brokeyes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alford sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brokeyes somewhat.
