Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Agressão/Repressão. NICOLAS ROCHA has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Felipe Silva's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. ROCHA tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. ROCHA manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

ROCHA gets caught flat footed, as Silva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Silva wants to pass the guard but ROCHA is keeping the position.

ROCHA throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Silva escapes and throws ROCHA's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Silva has control of ROCHA's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and ROCHA regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Silva jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… ROCHA is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by ROCHA and Silva has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
