Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Davisdon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phillip Finnegan!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finnegan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Finnegan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Davisdon's calf.
Finnegan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Davisdon.

Davisdon pushes Finnegan up against the cage in a clinch.

Finnegan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Davisdon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Finnegan to the mat. Finnegan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Davisdon prevents Finnegan from getting back to his feet.
Davisdon controlling from the top position.
Davisdon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Davisdon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Davisdon passes into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davisdon landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Finnegan is trying to stand back up but Davisdon is controlling him
Davisdon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Davisdon decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Finnegan moves into range and connects with a jab.
Phillip Finnegan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Finnegan tries a head kick but it misses.
Finnegan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Davisdon moves into the clinch.
Davisdon is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Finnegan wants to break free but Davisdon has control.
Finnegan wants a takedown but no success here.
Davisdon keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Finnegan's efforts to push away.

Davisdon tightens his grip and picks Finnegan up, before dumping him to the ground. Finnegan manages to land in guard.
Finnegan wants to stand but Davisdon is controlling the position.
Finnegan is looking to sweep but instead, Davisdon has passed into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Finnegan is trying to escape back to his feet but Davisdon uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Davisdon is chipping away with strikes.

Davisdon is working to tighten his grip on Finnegan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Finnegan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Davisdon is really squeezing tight and eventually Finnegan passes out! Davisdon breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Dave Davisdon opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
