PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Justin Bostic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sun Wukong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sun Wukong told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bostic throws a head kick but Wukong moves out of range.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wukong working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Sun Wukong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Wukong feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sun Wukong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
