Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castro has chosen Molly as his entrance music. Ethan Harris has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harris pushes Castro up against the cage in a clinch.

Castro is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Harris gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Castro tries to pull guard but Harris holds him up against the cage and eventually Castro drops back down to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Castro has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Harris gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Castro jumps guard but Harris turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Ethan Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Castro.

Harris is pressed up against the cage. Castro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harris down to the mat. Harris avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Harris pushes off an throws an elbow but Castro leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Clinched against the cage, Harris lands a big elbow that drops Castro! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Castro is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
