Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sveddi Tonn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Daniels will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sveddi Tonn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Daniels looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Daniels shoots in and drives through. Tonn sprawls well.
Daniels tries to clinch there but Tonn circles away.
Tonn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Daniels lands a head kick. Tonn smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Daniels moves out of range of the strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Daniels is defended easily by Tonn.
Sveddi Tonn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Daniels.
Tonn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Daniels sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tonn looks to land a left hand but Daniels moved out of range nicely.
Tonn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Daniels on the side of the head.


It looks like Josh Daniels has been cut.

Daniels dives in and scores a takedown into Tonn's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tonn takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Daniels closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tonn to the mat! Tonn manages to get full guard.
Daniels is fighting to break Tonn's control of his arms but Tonn is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniels seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tonn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nice takedown defense from Tonn. No joy for Daniels on that attempt.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tonn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Daniels has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Daniels and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Daniels counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Tonn is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tonn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sveddi Tonn will probably get the nod.

Sveddi Tonn is winning the standup battle so far.
Tonn throws a shot from downtown. Daniels moves away and avoids it.
Daniels shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tonn sprawls well. Tonn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Daniels gets slowly back to his feet.

Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tonn paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Tonn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daniels swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A slow jab from Tonn misses its intended target.
Daniels tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tonn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Daniels somewhat.
Josh Daniels has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sveddi Tonn.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tonn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
