The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone throws a head kick that misses.
Lad misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stone takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Stone's coach down at UMMA Gym Now with StandUP was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lad pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stone back to the cage. Lad follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Stone throws a head kick that misses.
Lad throws a wild body kick that Stone sees coming a mile off.
Lad wants to land a leg kick but Stone is out of range.
Lad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stone circles away quickly and effectively.
Stone fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lad throws a nice looking combination but Stone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Good Lad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Stone in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

In his post fight interview, Jon Stone started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
