Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Lim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Seamon!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seamon drives through with a takedown into guard.
Seamon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Lim working a defensive guard here.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Steve Seamon.
Lim misses with a head kick.
Seamon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Seamon controlling the action here.
Lim is trying to maintain the position but Seamon is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Seamon stands up and beckons Lim to join him on the feet.
Seamon clinches with his opponent.
Lim working aggressively here.
With the fighters up against the cage, Lim throws an elbow but misses.
Seamon jumps guard and drags Lim to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Seamon is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lim throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Seamon's body to avoid the submission. Seamon has instead reached around Lim's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Seamon arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
