The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rebel misses with a wild body shot.
We've been informed that Dicni has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Rebel decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Rebel throws a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dicni shoots in looking for a takedown. Rebel tries to sprawl out of it but Dicni keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Rebel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rebel uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Djetic Dicni has been cut.

Rebel cracks Dicni on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dicni falls backwards against the ropes. Rebel follows up with more strikes that drop Dicni to his knees. Rebel keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dicni! This one is all over!
