The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dostal shoots and misses
and Ross counters with a two punch combo.

Dostal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ross could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dostal tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ross's elbow.
Ross changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dostal fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dostal is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Dostal manages to break the clinch.

Ross is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dostal is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
