The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rookie's coach down at NEXUS GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rookie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Dutko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rookie's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Dutko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dutko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dutko tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dutko has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dutko dives in and grabs Rookie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rookie pushes down on Dutko's head and hops out.

Rookie is rocked!

It looks like El Senor Rookie has been cut.
Dutko softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Rookie is out cold! Dutko jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
