Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentin Lluca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Deacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Deacon.
Lluca shoots in for a takedown but Deacon shows good takedown defense.
Lluca takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Deacon throws a body kick that misses.
Lluca checks a leg kick.
Deacon jabs at Lluca's body.
Nice uppercut lands for Deacon. That snapped Lluca's head back.
Lluca definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Deacon cracks a nice hook into Lluca's ribs.
The fighters circle momentarily. Deacon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Deacon. That's going to slow Lluca down.

Deacon throws a looping overhand right but Lluca ducks down to avoid it.
David Deacon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lluca has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lluca there as he acknowledges the shot.
Deacon connects with the punch.
Deacon swings for the body but Lluca moves out of range.
Lluca will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lluca takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A head kick from Deacon lands but Lluca takes it in his stride.
Deacon throws a leg kick that misses.

Lluca takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Deacon feints and then cracks Lluca's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lluca down.
Lluca walks into a stiff left hand from Deacon.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lluca fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valentin Lluca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Deacon throws a lazy right hand but Lluca sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lluca throws a nice looking combination but Deacon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Deacon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lluca stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Deacon.

Lluca takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Deacon moves out of range of the strikes.
A slapping leg kick lands for Deacon.
Deacon scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A left lands for Deacon.
Lluca misses with a wild combination.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lluca. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Deacon throws a hook to the side of Lluca's head but Lluca sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Deacon throws a hook but Lluca avoids it easily.
Lluca looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Deacon counters with a stiff right hand.
Lluca checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lluca tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Deacon swivels and escapes.
Deacon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Deacon scores with a jab. Lluca acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Good standup being displayed there by Deacon as he connects with a hook.

David Deacon dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Deacon fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lluca is out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Deacon, as that shot connected.
Deacon throws a chopping leg kick but Lluca manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lluca drops his hands momentarily and Deacon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Lluca dodges the punch combination from Deacon.
Deacon swings for the body but Lluca moves out of range.

Lluca avoids a kick to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Lluca. Those never looked like landing.
Lluca throws a right and a left that Deacon avoids nicely.
Deacon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Deacon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lluca at a distance.
Lluca throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Deacon counters with a leg kick.
David Deacon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circling - Deacon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lluca throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Deacon.
Lluca uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Deacon.
Deacon just misses with a punch to the body.
A head kick misses from Deacon.
Lluca misses with a looping left.
Lluca doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Lluca shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Deacon connects with a looping right hand.
Lluca moves out of range of the body kick from Deacon.
Deacon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Deacon has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
A combination from Lluca does no damage.
Deacon throws an overhand right that lands on Lluca's shoulder, as Lluca tries to avoid the shot.
Deacon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lluca just misses with a punch to the body.

Deacon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lluca at a distance.
Deacon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lluca bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Deacon throws a shot from downtown. Lluca moves away and avoids it.

David Deacon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Deacon goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Lluca throws a right and a left that Deacon avoids nicely.
Deacon cracks Lluca with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Deacon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Deacon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
David Deacon seems to be getting the better of the standup.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Deacon enables Lluca to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Deacon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lluca seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Lluca throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Deacon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Deacon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lluca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Deacon wants to stand and escape but Lluca is having none of it.
Lluca not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

We're going to have a standup here because Valentin Lluca wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Deacon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lluca has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Deacon misses the jab.
Lluca looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Lluca takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Both fighters circling a little - Deacon finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Deacon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lluca drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Deacon scores with a decent looking hook.
Lluca is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Deacon throws out a loose jab but Lluca uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lluca shoots for a double leg takedown but Deacon sprawls well. He's pushed Lluca's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lluca drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Deacon is trying to control Lluca's posture but Lluca avoids it.
Deacon is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Deacon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Deacon dodges the ground and pound from Lluca.
Valentin Lluca has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Deacon is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Lluca has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Deacon is trying to control Lluca's posture but Lluca avoids it.
Lluca lands a nice forearm strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lluca tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lluca has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lluca in side control lands a decent elbow.

I would just about give that final round to David Deacon.
I've got Deacon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
