The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Levasqua tries to sprawl but Jigster drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Levasqua has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at LOD - Quality Training . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Levasqua can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jigster wants to work for an arm triangle but Levasqua is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jigster pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Jigster postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Levasqua looks a forlorn figure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jigster is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Levasqua is forced to tap! Great finish!
