Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Pablos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pablo Pablos looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harold Stone!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Stone connects with a right hand. Pablos shakes it off.

Stone moves into the clinch.
Stone tries to throw a body punch but Pablos avoids it by throwing Stone back against the cage.
Stone tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pablos's elbow.
Stone gets underhooks to prevent Pablos's takedown attempt.

Pablos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stone rushes Pablos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stone prevents the takedown attempt.
Pablos is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pablo Pablos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pablos jumps into guard, dragging Stone to the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pablos seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Stone wants to control from the top but Pablos keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pablos is on top in guard.

Pablos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pablos is breathing heavily.
Pablos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stone works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Stone controls Pablos momentarily but Pablos frees himself.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stone looking for a sweep. Not yet Stone, not yet.
Pablos tries to free his leg and advance position but Stone is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pablos works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Stone is defending against the submission attempts here by Pablos.
Stone is looking to control Pablos's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stone avoid being mounted?

Pablos seems to be working for a kimura but Stone defends the submission attempt.

Pablos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stone keeps working.

Pablos is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stone sees it coming and defends easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pablos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Stone takes the fight into the clinch.
Pablos is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stone is defending well.
Stone trying to control the position but instead, Pablos has worked for underhooks and has pushed Stone into the cage.
Pablos misses with a hook from the clinch.
Pablos is looking for a takedown.
Pablos is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pablo Pablos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Pablos tries to work over Stone's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Pablos is looking to take this one to the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pablos tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Pablos has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stone is trying to keep an underhook but Pablos manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Stone has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pablos is working away from the top position though.
Stone is controlling Pablos's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Stone tries to roll over but Pablos keeps him under control.
Stone is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Pablos is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pablo Pablos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stone is doing well to control the position and prevent Pablos from advancing to side control.
Pablos sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stone defending well though.
Stone tries to get to full guard but Pablos has control of the leg.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Stone trying to hold on to Pablos's head to control him but Pablos postures up.

Stone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pablos wants to stand up but Stone has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Pablos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Pablos stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Stone swats away the attempt to clinch by Pablos.

Stone moves into range and clinches up with Pablos.
Stone prevents a takedown attempt there.
Come on Stone - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Pablos has Stone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Stone breaks from the clinch.

Stone moves into range and clinches up with Pablos.
Pablos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stone is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Harold Stone will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stone presses Pablos against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The referee is keeping an eye on Stone - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Stone receives a warning from the referee for stalling.

Pablos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stone smiles and moves away.

Stone closes the distance and pushes Pablos back into the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Harold Stone.

Stone has closed the distance and engaged Pablos in a clinch.
Pablos changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stone fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Stone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Pablos tries to keep at a distance but Stone has taken the fight into the clinch.
Stone digs a right hand into Pablos's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pablos's gas tank.
Stone lands a left hand.
Stone stalls.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pablos wants a takedown.
Stone lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Pablo Pablos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Harold Stone is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Pablos misses with some punches.

I've got Stone winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
