Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oasidj Asiodjdaiodj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oasidj Asiodjdaiodj will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asiodjdaiodj throws a one two combo.
Kim misses the jab.
Asiodjdaiodj uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kim.
Asiodjdaiodj fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kim manages to avoid it.
Kim jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Asiodjdaiodj throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters circling - Kim throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Asiodjdaiodj connects with a body shot that sends Kim's belly button to the back.

Asiodjdaiodj tries to sprawl but Kim drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kim is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Asiodjdaiodj sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kim is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Asiodjdaiodj defends it well.

Asiodjdaiodj really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Asiodjdaiodj can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kim is looking for a kimura but Asiodjdaiodj is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kim to get the leverage.

We've been hearing good reports from Kim's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Kim seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Asiodjdaiodj is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Daniel Kim was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
