Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Elliott.
Elliott leaves Khamis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sterling Elliott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khamis goes for a double leg but Elliott avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Elliott continues to drive forward.
Khamis is trying to push Elliott away but Elliott has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Elliott has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Khamis avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Elliott goes for a takedown in the clinch but Khamis prevents it.

Elliott decides to pull guard.
Khamis connects with a couple of short punches.

Elliott is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Khamis is aware though and is defending well.
Khamis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Elliott is breathing heavily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khamis stands up and waves to Elliott to follow him.
A big right from Elliott misses.

Khamis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Elliott looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Khamis scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Elliott is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Khamis can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
