Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Luiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brookins throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Luiz 's head.
Luiz throws a body punch but Brookins moves out of range.
Luiz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brookins.
Luiz misses with a kick to the body.
Brookins throws a series of punches but Luiz avoids them all with ease.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Luiz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Brookins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Brookins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Brookins takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Brookins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Luiz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brookins.

Bruno Luiz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Luiz 's coach down at Grappling Pro Helsinki (14 coaches/25 fighters cap was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Luiz 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Luiz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Brookins tries to bum rush Luiz with a series of wild strikes but Luiz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brookins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luiz pinned against the cage. Luiz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Luiz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brookins. That did some damage!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brookins shoots in looking for a takedown but Luiz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brookins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Brookins cracks Luiz on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Luiz falls backwards against the cage. Brookins follows up with more strikes that drop Luiz to his knees. Brookins keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Luiz ! This one is all over!
