Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Neil Miller!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman throws a jab when Miller was well out of range.
Miller wants to clinch up but Bateman keeps it at a distance.

Miller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bateman to the ground. Miller is now in Bateman's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Miller feints a jab promting Bateman to slip. Miller then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bateman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bateman enables Miller to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bateman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Miller postures up in Bateman's guard and throws a big left but Bateman blocks it.

Bateman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bateman lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Miller has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Miller and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bateman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Miller looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Bateman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Miller. Miller circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miller ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bateman moves away.
Bateman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Neil Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Bateman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Miller. That did some damage!
Bateman slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bateman throws a hook to the side of Miller's head but Miller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bateman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Miller has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Bateman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Miller takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Patrick Bateman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Neil Miller is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Miller misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bateman.
Miller moves out of range as Bateman strikes.

Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Miller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Miller is trying to control the action in half guard but Bateman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Let's hope that Miller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bateman keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Neil Miller was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Miller has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Miller there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Miller counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Miller uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bateman.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neil Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
