Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Armando Wriedt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Marston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wriedt comes to the cage accompanied by Raise hell . John Marston has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Armando Wriedt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Marston!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marston clinches.
Marston misses with a body punch.
Wriedt is trying to push Marston away but Marston has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Wriedt blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Wriedt is trying to break free.
Wriedt is trying to break the clinch but Marston is controlling him.
Wriedt is trying to break the clinch but Marston is controlling him.
Marston prevents Wriedt from breaking the clinch.
Wriedt wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Marston has him pressed against the cage.
Wriedt is trying to force a seperation but Marston has the dominant position.
Marston tries to circle away but Wriedt has him pinned against the cage.

Marston turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Marston landing a few strikes.
Wriedt definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Marston wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wriedt, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Wriedt's face as Marston controls the position.

Marston throws a strike aimed at the side of Wriedt's head but Wriedt avoids it well.
Marston is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wriedt's shoulder. That is not cool.
Wriedt defending against the ground and pound.

Wriedt stops Marston from passing to mount.
Wriedt taking a bit of punishment here - Marston scoring with strikes.

Marston stands up.
Marston avoids the head kick by Wriedt.
Wriedt misses with a low kick.
Wriedt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Marston is looking to clinch.

Marston shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wriedt's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Marston gets to his feet. Wriedt looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Wriedt is breathing heavily.

Wriedt misses the shot to the body.
Marston misses with a leg kick.

Marston decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marston has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wriedt defend it? Marston steps over the head and cranks it - Wriedt is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Marston!
