The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whyte misses with a series of wild punches.
Hurricane throws a jab but it's blocked by Whyte.
Hurricane missing with a left hand there. Whyte was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Whyte pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Whyte throws a hook but Hurricane blocks it.
Hurricane throws a big shot that misses.

It looks like Chocolate Hurricane has been cut.

Chocolate Hurricane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hurricane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Whyte sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Hurricane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Whyte sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Whyte feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hurricane sprawling to the canvas! Hurricane rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Whyte finish him?!

Hurricane is rocked!
Hurricane has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Whyte counters with a huge right that knocks Hurricane out cold! Whyte is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
