Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ford Prefect (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rez Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prefect comes into the arena with For Whom The Bell Tolls blaring out of the sound system. Cortez has chosen Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prefect shoots in but no luck this time.
Cortez falls off balance throwing a combination
and Prefect counters by clinching up.
Prefect stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Prefect.
Prefect successfully pulls guard.
Cortez with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cortez is looking to work some ground and pound but Prefect has wrist control.
Prefect is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Cortez has his hands clasped together but Prefect extends and breaks Cortez's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Prefect.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ford Prefect!
After winning the bout, Ford Prefect thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
