MacRoberts's entrance music is God Save the Queen by The Sex Pistols. A fine choice. Julian Reis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis shoots in but no luck this time.
MacRoberts has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

MacRoberts closes the distance and clinches.
MacRoberts keeps control of Reis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

MacRoberts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
MacRoberts moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Reis tries to keep at a distance but MacRoberts has taken the fight into the clinch.

Reis told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Reis throws a series of punches but MacRoberts avoids them all with ease.
MacRoberts tries to bum rush Reis with a series of wild strikes but Reis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Reis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

MacRoberts clinches up with Reis and pushes him back against the cage.

MacRoberts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Michael MacRoberts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
MacRoberts tries to land a front kick but Reis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Reis is trying desperately to land a takedown but MacRoberts is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Reis.

Reis shoots in but MacRoberts avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Reis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as MacRoberts sprawls well. MacRoberts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reis gets slowly back to his feet.

Reis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. MacRoberts looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Reis is trying to get an arm triangle but MacRoberts is defending well.
MacRoberts regains half guard, as Reis was trying to land strikes.
Reis stops MacRoberts from getting back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Reis works his foot free and advances to mount.
Reis throws some wild stikes that MacRoberts manages to avoid easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reis stands and throws MacRoberts's legs to the side, diving into side control.
MacRoberts is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reis is controlling him well.

Reis is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. MacRoberts looks calm but he's in trouble here. Reis gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. MacRoberts is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Reis lets go of the hold and MacRoberts can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Julian Reis gave a mention to KAISER in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
