Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Black is defended easily by Cooper.
Black pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown by Cooper or perhaps it was just good defense by Black which made him look bad.
Black throws a right and a left that both miss.
Black is looking to clinch.
We've been told by Cooper's head coaches at Tenacity Elite - 17 Coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Black gets caught flat footed, as Cooper shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cooper postures up.
Cooper sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Black's guard.
Cooper looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Black is trying to stand up here but Cooper is controlling him well.

Cooper is looking to advance position but Black won't allow it.
Cooper is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Cooper is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Black is just riding it out for now. Cooper eventually gives up the hold.
Cooper wants to free his trapped foot but Black is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Black is looking to escape.
Black really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cooper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cooper wants to pass the guard but Black is defending well.

Cooper stops Black from getting back to his feet.
Cooper looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Cooper looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Black is trying to stand up here but Cooper is controlling him well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cooper moves nicely into side control.

Black misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Black wants to get back to his feet but Cooper drags him back down.
Black prevents Cooper from improving position.
Cooper is trying to get an arm triangle but Black is defending well.
Cooper is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Black looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cooper gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Black is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cooper lets go of the hold and Black can pop his arm back in it's socket.
